Rain, on top of freezing rain, has made hazardous driving conditions. In January! Your challenges will keep you inside today.
Challenge #1:
In January, we expect snow in Michigan! How much snow would we have if the rain that is falling would have been snow. Your challenge requires you to
- Find out how much rainfall we have received (OK to use a total at your time of research).
- Find the conversion formula of rain to snow fall.
- Share your answer AND cite your resources for both total rainfall and the conversion formula.
Challenge #2:
It's North American International Auto show week in Detroit . Find your favorite concept car and share a picture (don't forget to cite your source-you can "cheat" by using EasyBib).

Challenge #3:
Of course, you need to read! Today challenge yourself to read something you usually would not. Whether a new genre, or a topic you don't know about. Call, text or record what you've learned to share with a friend or relative.
Don't forget to share when you complete your challenges via Port Huron Schools Twitter @PHSchools, and/or FaceBook page.
