Digital Tools for Interactive Student/Teacher Communication

The PHASD secondary challenge is to ensure that all teachers and students have had the experience of interacting through digital communication. The goal is to move beyond simple notifications (using tools such as Remind 101, e-mail, etc) to providing a digital space that allows interactive communication and discussion.

To easily facilitate assessing where teachers are at in their experience with digital communication, as well as providing training and support, we have created a a Google form for your use. Please click here for the link to share with teachers: PHASD Secondary Digital Communication Survey

The survey will take teachers who have not yet digitally communicated with their students through the option of creating either a Google Group or a Google Classroom. The instruction department, including Mark Repp and Jim Leischman on tech support, are ready and willing to support you in this training. Let us know if you would like hands-on training, practice with the tools or support for PD for individuals as well as staff meetings.
